Paralegal Certificate Program

Disability Group, Inc. offers extensive training in medical and legal matters by means of a progressive training program and
scheduled mentoring sessions designed to prepare our legal assistants for their paralegal certification.

Scheduled Training Requirements:

• Completion of all Basic Training Courses
• Pass the Basic Training Test
• Completioin of all Advanced Training Courses
• Pass the Advanced Training Test OR
• Acheive at least 1 performance level increase within you department

Lunch & Learn Attendence Requirments:

• "The Social Security Book" Review
• VA%, closed periods, substance use/abuse & DAA Statements
• Social Security's 5 Step Sequential Process
• Handlling Emotionally Sensitive/Suicidal Clients
• Being confident and Earning Client Trust

Research Training Session Requirements:

• Navigating Through the Social Security Rulings
• Program Manual Operations Systems
• Code of Federal Regulations

Basic Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel (Outlook and Access a plus!)
• Type at 40 wpm
• One Year of Employment With DGI
• Manager Approval

Positions and Shifts Available:

• Full Time
• Part Time (Evenings and Weekends available)
